So, no one has asked, but if I were outside this persona I would be interested, and therefore I figure an explanation of what An Eve Non Entity is meant to be is in order. To be clear I have 2 accounts for eve online, a main pilot, and support pilots.

My primary life in the game is, as one blogger put it leveling my raven. In truth it isn't a raven, but a rattlesnake. I enjoy flying it, and have invested way too much isk in it. I am in short very close to the dumb level 4 mission runner who blings his ship. The only differences that I can see is that first the idea of tanking for rat damage gives me the shakes. I don't do it. OMNI TANK is the only tank. and I know there is risk to the ship should someone want to kill it. Looking at the blogging community around eve online I do not see that many people who enjoy this kind of thing blogging. That is why I am starting here. It seems that this is an under represented portion of the user community because we live in fear of being hunted down to be ganked. That is the reason for the name.

Part of me would love to blog as my main, but that would paint a target the size of a titan on his back should anyone actually read this. The only safety blanket I have is to hide. At the same time I do really love the game and want to comment on various blogs etc, some of them allow for anon to post, some don't, and even then there is no way to take ownership of the ideas of anon. I also have my own crazy ideas about ship fitting and missioning etc that I want a place to keep. as I write this the site is an infant it has a default blogger theme and I have yet to get any of the widgets working to link to the various blogs that are my lifeblood for understanding the rest of the game. those things are coming. I wont hope to achieve the levels that Ripard Teg maintained, but if I can get a few people to see this and hopefully understand this POV then I have been a success, and if not I can still rant. Fly safe

    1. Yeah, mostly I end up using this just for an actual account to comment on blogger blogs, though I do want to actually start blogging about stuff. Prtly I need to take the time to sit down and learn blogger. I have no clue how to set up a custom background etc, and partly I need to be motivated to write posts, not just reply to stuff.... like I am doing here.

as for what An Eve Non Entity is supposed to be, if by what is the blog supposed ot be see above, if you mean why the name? that is a bit more complicated. As a player I have mostly lived my life in HS, in fact save a brief stint where I was part of whyso, but completely inactive I have been in HS. (the whyso stint was right at the beginning when I knew nothing, but the guys who dragged me into eve were whyso, and therefore so was I)

The whole experience of someone who mostly likes to PVE from the HS stand point outside of incursions seems like something that is really dead to me from a feedback standpoint. HS missioners, the ones who "level their raven" aren't always vocal members of the community. For me part of the worry is OPSEC if I talk about fits, and missions etc flying an expensive ship (greens, some blues no purple though) I effectively put a GANKME sign on my forehead. for that reason AENE is disconnected from my main toon [redacted] and alts, [redacted] and [yep also redacted] to live I nHS and play the way I do I need to be a non entity, being known is a death knell to that play style. So I decided that my public entity would be my non entity.
